Albert Fred Vosika, age 82, was born on October 17, 1941 in Friend, Nebraska to Fred Vosika and Lillie (Drevo).  He passed away on March 2, 2024 in Crete.  He attended Dorchester Public School and graduated Dorchester High School in 1959.  Albert was a member of the Air Force and Army from 1959 to 1967.  He worked for the Crete Mills for 42 years.  He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Kramer.  On July 5, 1986, Albert married Shirley Horst at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Scribner, Nebraska.  Their daughter, Susan Renee Vosika, was born on February 20, 1987.  He was preceded in death by his parents, step mother:  Dorothy Kubicek and his sister in law:  Toni Vosika.  Albert is survived by his wife of 37 years:  Shirley, daughter:  Susan, both of Crete, his brother:  Loren Vosika of Philadelphia, nephew and spouse:  Brooke and Annette Vosika of Woodstock, New York.  Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Kramer with viewing 1 hour prior to the services.  Memorials have been designated to the Brave Animal Rescue (in care of Mackenzie Chapek).  Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.  The services will be livestreamed by the church and can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M-5f1eZR0U&pp=ygUjc3QuIGpvaG4gIGx1dGhlcmFuIGNodXJjaCBrcmFtZXIgbmU%3D.
