Alicia R. Bechtold was born on December 30, 1959 to Walter and Mary (Burrow) Ford in Eureka, California and passed away on November 11, 2020 at her home in Crete, Nebraska with her dog Poncho by her side.

Alicia loved going to the lake.  All you had to say were the words, "camping or fishing" and she was there.  As much as she loved the lake, she loved her grandchildren: Theodore, McKenna, Myles, Caidyn and Mason more. (Never send the kids to Grandma's house in good clothes!)  She was the fun Grandma who made smile pancakes, homemade play dough and loved jumping in mud puddles with them.  When there were no mud puddles, don't worry, Grandma knew how to make bigger messier ones.

Alicia will be truly missed by her family and all who knew her.  No services are being held and Alicia will be interred at Blue Valley Cemetery at a later date.  Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete is in charge of arrangements.
