Anthony John Degenhardt, age 49, of Lincoln, passed away on September 10, 2025. Anthony grew up in Crete and later moved to Fairbury. He completed his GED in 1994. He relocated to Lincoln where he worked as a medication aide and then as a property manager. Anthony spent his free time camping and fishing with friends and family. He loved being out on the lake with his jet ski. Anthony is preceded in death by his grandmother: Blanche Tracy, mother: Lucille Degenhardt-Jones and son: Michael. Survivors include his parents: Jerry and Doris Degenhardt of Crete, sisters: Joyce Juracek of Omaha, Laura Degenhardt of Lincoln, and Sarah (John) Peake of Omaha. Brother: Jeremy Degenhardt of Lincoln. Stepsister: Barbara (Damon) Lamp of Bergman, AR. Many nieces and nephews. Special friends: Toya Laravie, Amy Sovereign, and Jenn and Zoey Reddell.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church in Crete. Visitation begins at 5:00 PM on Friday with a Rosary at 6:45 PM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
