Blake Carl Russell, 36 years young, died suddenly Monday January 11, 2021 at his home in the company of his loving mother.  Born June 22, 1984 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Crystal Richmond and Merle Russell. He graduated from Crete High School in 2003. He worked as a security guard for Farmland/Smithfield's Plant for seventeen years. He enjoyed being a free spirt with his many friends.  Blake is survived by his mother, Crystal Richmond of Crete. His grandparents, five aunts & uncles and fourteen cousins, as well as other extended family/relatives. Cremation, no visitation.  Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the immediate family, Crystal Richmond, in Blake's memory. Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete is in charge of the arrangements.
