Carol J. (Barta) Allerheiligen, 69, passed away in Beatrice, NE on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at home. She was born on July 11, 1948 in Beatrice, NE to Erma (Sipek) and Felix Barta. She was raised on the family farm in Western, NE.

In 1964 at the age of 16 she married William H. Allerheiligen and they moved to Lincoln, NE. From this marriage they were blessed with four children. While raising a family she got her G.E.D. to go on to take classes at the University of Nebraska. This was done while having worked full-time at various different jobs, including the University Of Nebraska.

It was in 1987 that Carol met her second mate Jay W. Denniston, after being divorced for some time. She spent the rest of her days with him. Carol is survived by her four children and their spouses: Linda L. Golightly & Loren Rice (Bennett, NE), Suzanne K. Lunderville & Larry Lunderville (Lincoln, NE), Shelly J. Foster & Benny Foster (Beatrice, NE), William H. Allerheiligen II & Cherie Allerheiligen (Valparaiso, NE), from which she was blessed with 14 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, brother (Richard A. Barta, Sr.), nephew (Richard A. Barta, Jr.), grandson (William H. Allerheiligen, III), and Jay W. Denniston.

Services: Friday, 10:30 am, Kuncl Funeral Home, Wilber. Visitation beginning 9:00 am.  Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber is in charge of arrangements.
