Dale LeRoy Rezny, 82, of Wilber, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 30, 2021 in Lincoln.  He was born on January 25, 1939 to his parents Frank and Anna (Wanek) Rezny on the family farm west of Wilber.  Dale attended country school and then graduated from Wilber High School in 1956.  On February 15, 1962 he was married to Donna Schuerman.  They had two sons, Randy and Larry and made their home on the family farm west of Wilber.  In addition to farming, Dale worked several construction jobs, including operating heavy equipment for his brother Bill.  Dale was a fun person who loved life.  In addition to his many nieces and nephews, he was affectionately known by many as "Uncle Dale". He lost his wife Donna to cancer in 1993, even though this left a huge void in his life, he never lost his passion for living.   Dale enjoyed listening to the Sunday polka show and eating Czech foods.  He liked gardening, cooking and deer hunting. He was always eager to try out a new sausage recipe.  Mostly he enjoyed going out to visit with friends, whether it was coffee in the morning or beers in the evening. Also, in retirement, he also enjoyed patrolling the streets of Wilber and offering his supervisor skills on the farm.  He will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents:  Frank and Anna, wife:  Donna, brothers:  Ivan (Mary) Rezny, Norman (Dorothy) Rezny, Williard (Gabriella) Rezny, Robert (Rose) Rezny, brothers in law and sisters in law:  Floyd Schuerman, Joe and Verla Tyser, Patty Schuerman, and Robert Kudlacek.  Survivors include his sister:  LeAnna Kudlacek, sons and spouses:  Randy and Amy Rezny, Larry Rezny and friend Nancy Bisseger, brothers and sisters in law:  Howard and LaVae Schuerman, and Allen Schuerman, grandchildren:  Abby Rezny, Clayton Krauter and Cortney Krauter, great grandchild:  Charlotte Krauter.  Services will be on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber, casual attire is requested.  Visitation will be on Monday from 5 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home.  Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
