David A. Johnson, Jr., age 75, of Crete, passed away April 9, 2016 in Lincoln. Born September 21, 1940 to David A. Johnson, Sr. and Alice (Kiskadden) Johnson. Loving husband, father, and grandfather. Dave was known as a bit of a jokester at times, but also looked out for those he loved and cared about. He was an excellent father figure and was a hard worker that provided for his wife and kids and exemplified unconditional love for his family and friends. 50 year member Crete Masonic Lodge. Cremation/no visitation. Celebration of Life: Thursday, 10:30 am, United Church of Christ, First Congregational, 12th & Ivy, Crete. Preceded by his parents, daughter: Andrea, grandson: Wynn. Survivors: Wife: Gerry. Son and daughter in law: Chris and Mercedes. Grandsons: Alex, Ben, and Dorian. Brother: Joe Johnson.
