Delora Luella (Vosta) Sukovaty, passed away on February 24, 2025, in Wilber, Nebraska. She was born in rural Saline/Seward County to John and Etta (Wyman) Vosta on December 30, 1920. She grew up in that area and attended rural school and graduated from Crete High School with the Class of 1938.  After graduation, she worked for a dentist and various other jobs.

Delora married Arnold (Archie) Sukovaty on October 16, 1946, in rural Seward County.  They moved to the family farm north of Swanton, living there until 1964, then moving to Wilber.  She worked at Formfit in Crete and Annie's Café in Wilber and bartended at various bars in Wilber and Swanton.

After the passing of her husband in the 80's, Delora and her best friend started traveling all over the United States and the World.  In her later years, she lived in Garden Square in Crete and the Wilber Care Center.

She loved Nebraska sports, especially football, gardening and flowers, quilting, playing cards, visiting with friends and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed the United Methodist Church.

Delora leaves to mourn her daughter, Diane Daniels, son, Douglas (Archie) Sukovaty, grandchildren, Tammy (Jeff) Klaumann, Paula (Kevin) Steinberg, Matt (Holly) Sukovaty and Charice Bennett, great grandchildren, Nate (Emily) Klaumann, Jayson Klaumann, Bethany Klaumann, Darick (Shelby) Steinberg, Jorden Steinberg, Jacob Sukovaty and Zachary Sukovaty, Theresia Stewart, Joseph Persinger, Sascha Bennett and Alaric Bennett, great great granddaughter, Claire Huber and step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold (Archie) Sukovaty, parents, daughter in law, Suzan Sukovaty, son in law, Jim Daniels, sister, Ruby Plouzek, brother, Ron Vosta and grandson Christopher Sukovaty.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber. Viewing and visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Memorials are in care of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.
