Dolores Jean Aughe, age 74, of Crete, Nebraska, left earth to join our Heavenly Father on April 9, 2025, in Crete. She was born on February 3, 1951, to Charles and Gladys Coffey.

Dolores was a graduate of Crete High School, and after graduating married her high school sweetheart Sam Aughe.  They went on to have two children, Jeff and Michelle.

Dolores held various working roles throughout her life, but her true passions were spending time with her grandchildren, being involved with the church, and helping out as a volunteer at St. James school.

Dolores was joined in death by husband Sam and her great-grandson Samuel (SJ) Hernandez.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Gladys Coffer, and infant sister Mary Coffey.

She is survived by her children Jeff (Shannon) Aughe: Michelle (Jason) Buresh; grandchildren Mason and Brady Aughe, Brennan Coleman, John and Taylor Parks, Beau, Hailee, and Jake Buresh, Brianna Shonka (Zach), and Bryson Dessel. Sisters Linda Coffey, Colleen (Mike) Oliver, Terri White, Carol (Steve) Busboom, brother Dave (Marilyn) Coffey, and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crete. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 - 8 PM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete with a Rosary Service at 6:30 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
