Donivan H. (Big Red) Lee Sr., 68 of Crete, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 20, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 26th, 1 p.m., at Kuncl Funeral Home, Crete, NE.

Donivan was born on August 20th, 1948 to Harold and Darlene (McMillian) Lee in Fairbury, Nebraska. He graduated from Hebron High School, and shortly after married Marcia (Vesely) and to this union had three children; Donivan Jr., Michelle, and Casey. Donivan worked at Swift in Grand Island. Later he married Linda Johnson and to this union had three children; Kristine, Ryan, and Jessica. Donivan worked for Saline County Roads Department where he retired in 2012 after 23 years. Donivan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and coaching baseball when his son Ryan was young. He also looked forward to the family's yearly vacation to Minnesota.

Donivan is survived by his wife Linda of Crete, children Donivan Jr. (Lori) of Kearney, Michelle Cervantes of Hastings, Casey (Tammie) of Grand Island, Kristine (Gene Muff) of Crete, Ryan of Crete, and Jessica (Trevis Trautman) of Wilber. 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Dan (Sheryl) of Gordon, Ed of Clarks, NE, Fritz (Barb) of Grand Island, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Donivan will be greatly missed by all. Memorials will be decided at a later time by the family.
