Dorothy or "Dot" as Edward Kovar called her, worked hard to reach her goals. For more than 10 years she devoted time and energy to organizing, planning and leading 4-H Clubs, Girl Scouts and other community activities. She was an avid Huskers fan watching every game, recording stats on her notepad, and always wearing red on game days.
Her other passions included doing things for her family, decorating for birthdays, holidays, Czech Days and especially for Christmas. She was the family's role model exemplifying courage, strength, perseverance and a strong work ethic. She was most proud of her family, supporting them with her love, time and attention. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, shopping, music and dancing.
Dorothy loved to travel and was "ALWAYS READY TO GO." She traveled to several states and Europe visiting Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
