Dorothy Frances (Novak) Kuhn was born in rural Seward County on April 11, 1931, and passed away November 6, 2017 in Crete at age 86.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Linda, son-in-law, Douglas O'Hare, grandson, Jeremy O'Hare, wife Karen and great grandson Keegan Jack of Aurora, Nebraska; grandson Branden O'Hare, wife Caitlin and great grandson Calvin Sean of Omaha, Nebraska. She has one brother, Dwaine Novak, and two sisters, Delores Andelt and Donnalee Miller. She is also remembered by countless nephews, nieces and their families as well as a multitude of friends.
Preceding Dorothy in death is her husband, Harold, June 16, 2009 and parents Adolf Novak, and Frances (Dedic) Novak, brother in law, John Andelt Jr., sisters in law Bobbi Novak, Ann Kuhn, and Betty Sedersten, and nephew Dale Andelt.
Dorothy was a farm girl all her life and an excellent cook. Her specialties were decorated birthday cakes for her family and friends and thousands of kolaches with "lots of fruit filling." She enjoyed all kinds of music and dancing, and driving her little Buick. Her favorite memories are with the Novak and O'Hare extended families, and trips to see Daniel O'Donnell concerts with her daughter, son in law, and friend Sharon Swett Davidson.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, November 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Milford, Nebraska. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 – 8 p.m. at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Burial at Camden Cemetery.

Memorials suggested include: Camden Cemetery, Good Shepard Church, or the family for future designation.
