Elmer J. Branzovsky, 74 years, of Fremont, Nebraska died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Nye Legacy in Fremont, Nebraska. Elmer was born July 21, 1942 in Friend, Nebraska to Elmer and Evelyn(Kasl)Branzovsky.
He was raised in Wilber, Nebraska and graduated from Wilber High School. He served in the Army National Guard from October 15, 1961 to August 5, 1962 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Elmer married Janice Kay Herrington July 15, 1967. They later divorced. Elmer married Charlotte M. McMahan October 10, 1997. He lived in Hooper, Nebraska and Omaha, Nebraska before moving to Fremont in 1993. He raised his family in Omaha. He was a professional truck driver for Pamida, American Freightway and Fed Ex.
He was a member of American Legion Post #264 in Dorchester, Nebraska. He competed in State Trucking Competitions and also annual truck rodeos in his younger years. He was a member of the Nebraska Trucking Association.
He is survived by wife, Charlotte; sons, Cody Allen Branzovsky of Omaha and Terry(Chris)Wolfe of Fremont; daughters, Bobbi Jo(Bill)Stice of Sun City, Arizona, Michelle(Adam)Griger of Fremont, Brenda(Gary)Nuttelmann and Kimberly Bosak all of Columbus, Nebraska; twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Timothy Wolfe.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 1 PM to 4 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation at Kuncl Funeral Home, 607 West 3rd Street, Wilber, Nebraska on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Wilber Cemetery with Military Honors.
