Emily Korinek passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln, NE. Emily was born on May 5 ^th , 1931 in Lincoln, NE to James and Olie Hronik. She spent many years bartending.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Korinek, her daughter Nancy Schuerman and great grandson Hunter Roesler.  Emily is survived by her children; Sharon Oliver, Jim and Elaine Korinek of Wilber, Ed Korinek of McPherson, Kansas, Emily Brown, David and Karla Korinek of Wilber. Her grandchildren; Kenneth Richtarik of Wilber, Scott and Diana Korinek of Cairo, NE, Jason and Darcy Richtarik of Wilber, Jenny and Ben French of Marquette, KS, Wendy and Derek Bartee of Lincoln, NE. Steven Korinek of McPherson, KS, Jacob and Kaci Korinek of Oregon, Joey Kotas of Wilber, Ann Roesler of Wilber, NE, Kayla Miller of Crete and Kenny Miller of Wilber. Great grandchildren are; Collin and Courtney French of Kansas, Kellen, Brynn and Finley Korinek, Gem McCain, Molly Richtarik, Kennedy Bartee, Sarah Yager, Stephanie Korinek, Ty and Brooklyn Roesler, all of Nebraska.  Her sister Lillian Kubicek of Crete, Ne, and nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 23 ^rd , 2020 at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.  Visitation will be Tuesday September 22 ^nd , 2020 from 5-7 pm at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.  The family has requested casual attire for those who are able to attend and masks are optional.  Memorials can be made to Wilber Rescue.  A private burial will be at a later date.  Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber is in care of the arrangements.
