Obituary

Florence Mae Freeouf was born on December 8, 1930 to Joseph and Antonia Pisar and passed from this life on January 22, 2017 at York, Nebraska. Florence attended school in Pleasant Hill and then graduated from Dorchester High School. She then graduated from Lincoln Business School and then worked at Crete Mills in Crete.

On September 20, 1949 Leonard Freeouf and Florence Pisar were united in marriage at the Wilber Methodist Church. Their marriage was blessed with a son, Bernard. Florence enjoyed working at the information booth on Czech Days and would often have her granddaughters dressed up in their Czech outfits there at the booth with her. She loved attending her grandchildren's activities and school events.

Florence was a proud 50 year member of the Eastern Star and was a former Grand Matron. She received the Lady of Libuse Award in 1985.

Florence is survived by her husband of 67 years, Leonard Freeouf; Son, Bernard and wife Sue of York; Granddaughters Kimberly and husband Bret Walker and their children Gavin and Paige of
Brighton, Colorado and Jenny and husband Michael Sheanon and their twins, Lilly and Alexander of Taunton, Massachusettes, and Grandson Brian Freeouf and wife Jessamy and their son, Joey of Rapid City, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Dorothy Fieken and one brother, Stanley Pisar.

Pallbearers are Bill Kastanek, Ken Ripa, Keith Kreshel, Randy Sasek, Verne Anthony and Brian Freeouf.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber, Nebraska with Pastor Lila Bottolfsen officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-8 PM with Eastern Star Services at 7:00 PM all at the funeral home. Interment will be at Wilber Czech Cemetery.
