Frank H. Linhart, age 82, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 6, 2021.  He was born on February 9, 1939, in rural Wilber, Nebraska, to Frank and Vivian (Henke) Linhart.   Frank married Nancy Kohel on August 30, 1959; they were blessed with two children, and were able to celebrate 58 years together.  He worked for over 30 years for the Wilber Manufacturing Company, and was on the Wilber Fire Department for many years.  Frank was a kind man with a soft heart.  He loved the simple things in life: a home cooked meal, listening to old time music, watching Nebraska UNL sports on TV, and visiting with family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Frank also enjoyed working in his shop and helping his wife Nancy in finding ways to enhance the Czech culture through their projects.  Frank and Nancy also made and sold heart address signs to generate funds for the Wilber City Park playground equipment; he liked to see things get done.  He is survived by his son Kent (Christine) Linhart, and daughter Kelly (Joe) Gifford, and grandchildren, Jennifer (Jarod) Moeller, Cary (Sian) Linhart, Craig Gifford and Courtney Gifford;  Great-grandchildren, Luke, Blake, Beckett and Livia Moeller, CeCe Meister, and Roe and Bayler Linhart; sister, LaVern Aksamit, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy, and parents, Frank and Vivian Linhart Weseman, and Stepfather Carl Weseman.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 2 p.m., Kuncl Funeral Home, Wilber. Visitation will be on Tuesday, 5 to 7 p.m., at the Wilber funeral home. Interment in Wilber Czech Cemetery.  Memorials are in care of the family in lieu of flowers.  Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber is in charge of the arrangements.
