Gary Edwin Rezac, 63, of Crete, passed away on March 11, 2019. He was born on February 29, 1956 to Leonard and Alma (Dvorak) Rezac. He graduated from Crete High School in 1974 and attended Southeast Community College in Milford studying auto mechanics. He worked for Rediger Chevrolet and then Saline County. He retired from Saline County in July, 2016. He married Sherry Meinke on September 17, 1983. They had four daughters. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He enjoyed farming and taking care of his cattle. Gary is survived by his wife, Sherry; mother, Alma Rezac; daughters, Deanna Royuk (Zach) of Arlington; Christina Katusin (Tom) of Omaha; Jeana Scholz (Matt) of Dorchester and Amanda Rezac (significant other Christian Thompson) of Lincoln; grandchildren, Kaleb and Sienna Royuk; brother, David (Bonnie) Rezac; mother- in-law, Barbara Meinke. He was preceded in death by his dad, Leonard Rezac and His father-in-law, Arnold Meinke. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 - 8 PM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.  Private family graveside services.
