Gene W. Schmutte, 75, of Denton, Texas, formerly of Crete, Nebraska, passed away February 3, 2019. He was born on January 29, 1944 to Louis and Virginia (Moore) Schmutte in Lincoln, Nebraska. Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete, Nebraska. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Crete.
