Gwendolyn (Morgan) Hladky age 94, the youngest of ten children, was born on June 26, 1926 in Myrtlewood, Alabama to George and Annie (Freeman) Morgan and passed away on April 29, 2021 at the Wilber Care Center in Wilber, Nebraska.

She moved to El Paso, Texas in the mid 1950's where she met and married her husband of 41 years, Donald Hladky.  They moved to Crete in 1960 where she was employed at JC Penny clothing store.   She loved the southwest and she and her husband retired to Alamogordo in 2001 where she renewed old friendships and made many new one.  Her love of people was God's gift to her.  She and her husband were charter members of the Berean Church in Crete, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, parents, her six sisters and 3 brothers.

Gwendolyn's wishes were to be cremated and interred next to her husband at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.  Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete is in charge of arrangements.
