Harvey passed away quietly at home on December 26, 2017 surrounded by family and friends after battling cancer. He was born on October 15.1947. He had a band called "Rawhide" which he had for over 20yrs. He loved to play his music for people to dance to. He is survived by brother Gary Taylor (Christine) of Lincoln, sister Sharon Devor of Lincoln, and sister Darlene Taylor of Haskell, AR and companion/friend Kathy Strasburg of Western, NE. Daughter Cindy Taylor of Hastings, Stepson David Gaines (Michelle) of Lincoln, Bryan Gaines (April) of Lincoln, Sherry Baker and fiancé Tony of Nebraska City and Kevin Gaines (Casey) of Garnett, KS. He had 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ivy Taylor, his parents John and Shirley Taylor and his brother in law Frank Devor. ervices will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:30 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
