Irene Marjorie Hyde was born in Friend, Nebraska on January 28, 1947, to Elmer and Erma (Kohout) Burda.  She passed away August 17, 2022, in Wilber, NE. She attended Wilber Public School.  On June 4, 1965, Irene married Marion Herb Hyde.  She lived in Wilber all her life and then moved into the Care Center.  Irene worked at Formfit, Russell Stover, the Wilber Care Center and Peterson Manufacturing (American Tool).  She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wilber.  She enjoyed sewing, Bingo, drinking Pepsi, crocheting, crafts, gardening, flowers (which were always in bloom around the house in the spring and fall), baking and spending time with her family and grandkids.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Marion Herb Hyde.  Survivors include her children:  Michael and wife Kristine, Michelle Hyde and special friend Nick Behring, Mark Hyde and special friend Heather Makelin.  Grandchildren:  Sara (Alex) Schettler, Jami (Joe) Thody, Lacey (Levi) Lane, Michael Hyde, Jr., Miranda Baxa and fiancé Calvin Katz, Mirisa Hernandez and special friend Ryan Bulin, Jonathan Hyde, Ambur Hyde and special friend Logan Warner.  Great grandchildren:  Collin Thody, Jayla Lane Small, Sawyer Lane, Emmersyn Lane, Camden Baxa, Amira Baxa, Tinzley Katz. Sister and brother-in-law:  Marge and Jerry Kalkwarf, nephews and great nephew and nieces.   Memorial Service: Thursday August 25, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.  Visitation: Wednesday August 24, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber, NE.  Memorials to the family for future designation.  Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.
