Jacqueline Lorraine Hemphill-Richey, was born on May 30, 1932 in Maxwell, Nebraska. She moved to North Platte, Nebraska and then in 1944, moved to Omaha. She graduated from Dundee elementary, and then Tech High of Omaha. She worked at Hesteds as well as Kresges, both in Omaha. Jacqueline married William Richey on March 15h, 1952. While living in Omaha, a son, Thomas, was born on October 16, 1956 at Methodist Hospital. The family then moved to Oconto in February of 1957, after William was discharged from the Army. Rhonda joined the family on November 23, 1964. Jacqueline passed away on December 24, 2018 at Tabitha in Crete. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Richey, mother, Stella Marie Klinge Hemphill , father, Nile Vernon Hemphill, brother, Billy Hemphill, sister, Sharon Hemphill-Barthuly , brother, Marvin Eugene Hemphill in 1937 and great grandson, D'Angelo J. Edwin Richey. She is survived by son, Thomas E. Richey and daughter in law, Donna Richey of Hallam, Nebraska, daughter, Rhonda Ring and son in law, Jeff Ring of Loveland, Colorado. Grandsons T.J. Richey, Nicholas Richey of Lincoln, Matthew and wife LaDena Richey of Loveland, Colorado, Greg Martin of Loveland, Colorado, Joe and Melia Martin and their children, AJ and Zoey of Omaha. Granddaughters: Rebekah Martin, and Rachel Martin, also of Omaha. Great grandchildren: Sierra and Andrew Richey of Juanita, Nebraska, Max Smith and Jeweliana Richey of Loveland, Colorado, and Jailyn Richey of Roca, Nebraska. Brother, Dean and sister in law Maryanne Hemphill of Omaha. Sisters: Donna Jean and brother in law, Richard Whisenand of Minnesota, Carol Austin of Indiana, brother in law, David and wife Holly Barthuly of Wisconsin, and sister-in Law Bev Hemphill of Fremont, Nebraska. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home.  Memorials are in care of the family.
