Janis Kay Stahl of Crete passed away on March 1, 2018 in Lincoln. She was born on February 6, 1943 in Hastings Nebraska to Bud and Maxine Wells. She was the oldest of 9 and they were all raised in Glenvil Nebraska. She married Arlen Stahl on December 3, 1961 and to this union 3 sons were born, Andrew Scott, Cary and Steve. She retired from the State of Nebraska Health and Human Services. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, doll collecting, and spending time with her sister on the boats (and we don't mean fishing). She was preceded in death by her parents and son Andrew Scott. Survivors are 2 sons Cary (Machel) Stahl, Steve (Chris) Stahl, one granddaughter Syarah Stahl, four grandsons, Dylan Stahl, Derek Stahl, Jayden Stahl, Zane Stahl, and one great granddaughter, Ensley Stahl. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Family and friends will meet at Wilber Czech Cemetery prior to services. Casual attire is requested. Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete is handling arrangements.
