Joanne Ramsey, 89 of Wilber, NE, was born February 26, 1934 to Henry T. and Olga Marie (Bruns) Schuster at Filley, Nebraska. She made her trip to her heavenly home on September 21, 2023. She married the love of her life, Glen Cedric Ramsey, on February 26, 1952, and to this union six children were born. Joanne was a godly woman who attended Church regularly and instilled the faith of God in her children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to visits with her sisters. Joanne loved her family dearly and was known for making the best homemade bread and goodies. She was also a hard-working Wife and Mother who excelled at gardening and canning, and still found the time to share her piano playing talent with her family gathered around. Later in life, Joanne enjoyed playing cards and Dominoes with her friends in Wilber.
Joanne is survived by her Son, Shelby Ramsey of Grand Blanc, MI; three Daughters, Pamela Pospisil of Wilber, NE, Beth Miller of York, NE, and Sherri (Glenn) Anderson of Hebron, NE. Grandchildren Amie Fisher, Jamie (Kelly) Ramsey, Aaron (Jamie) Pospisil, Brian (Jennifer) Pospisil, Michael (Sadye) Pospisil, Jr., Misty Miller and Caitlin Ramsey; 13 Great-Grandchildren Tyler, Landon, Josh, Nolan, Jaxon, Brayden, Ashton, Gavin, Bria, Journey, Oakley, Maddux, and Ayanna; and one Great-Great-Grandson Rowan. Two Sisters, Janetta Frerichs (special friend Eldon White), and Ida Lohmeyer, along with several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband and love of her life Glen Ramsey, Daughter Glenda Barnes, Son Glen Ramsey, Jr., Daughter-in-law Linda Ramsey, Son-in-law Michael Pospisil, Sister Anna Dorn, Brothers-in-law Raymond Dorn, DeWayne Lohmeyer, Wilbur Frerichs and several Sisters and Brothers-in-law. Services are Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 11 AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilber. Visitation will be on Monday, 5 to 7 PM at Kuncl Funeral Home, Wilber. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are in care of the family to be designated to the Lutheran Church in Wilber or The Legacy Square in Henderson, Ne. Services entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home, Wilber.
