John William Bayliss was born on May 21, 1947 in Gordon, NE to Robert and Harriett (Stephens) Bayliss and passed away on May 11, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska.   He worked through high school and into his early 20's at the local grocery store.  Later in his life he worked construction for many companies.  John enjoyed hunting, fishing, an occasional beer but, mostly his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  John is preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna, two sisters, Ann Carol and Karen,  brother, Eugene, daughter, Rhondi and grandsons Rocky and John.  He is survived by daughter Teresa (David) Duensing, of Clatonia, son, Jason (Krista) Bayliss of Friend,  Shair Densbuger, Jamie Underwood, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, brother Robert Bayliss and sister Diana Bayliss.  The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
