Joseph Gerrard Larkin, 68, of Wilber, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his home. Born September 18, 1953, to Leo & Maryrose Larkin in Kimball Ne. Joe graduated high-school from Thomas More Prep-Marian in Hays Kansas. He attended the University of Nebraska for 2 years. He was a member of the National Guard for 9 years and later became a Journeyman Electrician until he retired in 2018. Joe enjoyed gardening and flowers of any kind. He also enjoyed spending time spoiling his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Pat; Daughters: Megan Howe of Beatrice, Anna Jo Kowalski (Ben) of Wilber. Two grandchildren Sophia and Leo. Brothers: Andrew Larkin of St. Cloud MN & Robert Larkin of Kimball Ne. Sisters: Peg Hofer (Steve) of Maple Grove MN & Deb Larkin of Goldfield Iowa. Many nieces & nephews along with countless friends.  A celebration of Joe's life will be at 11:00 am Monday February 28, 2022 at Kuncl's Funeral Home in Wilber. Cremation, no visitation. Fellowship following at the American Legion Building in the park. Private Burial at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.
