Kathleen A Strouf, 75, of Malcolm, NE, sadly left us on Jan. 14, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born in Crete on July 13, 1948 to Edward and Lois Strouf. She is survived by two sons: Ken Hoesche (Darlene) of Crete and Justin Woita of Malcolm.  Grandchildren: Brittney Sladky (Josh), Nicole Hoesche, John Hoesche, Tyler Hoesche w/ fiancé Liz Osbourn, Katelyn Hoesche, Sarah Hoesche, Regan Woita, Rylan Woita, Brecken Woita. Great grandchildren: Elijah, Gage, Becker, Parker, Carson. Stepfather: Jerry Homolka, Western. Stepmother: Madelyn Strouf, Crete. Brothers: Bob Strouf (Sabra), Tom Strouf (JoAnn). Sisters: Deb Steuer and special friend Lyle Williams, Chris Theye (Don), Cindy Ackman (Christopher). Nieces and Nephews. She always had a great work ethic and retired from Kawasaki in 2009 and still did part time work to stay busy. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening. She never missed a Dallas Cowboys game through the good and the bad. Alan Jackson was her favorite celebrity and his music was playing always. A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Jan 28th at 1:00 P.M. at Veteran & Friends in Crete, NE. Memorials are in care of the family.  Arrangements by Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
