Kathleen Ann (Earl) Tachovsky, 65, of Swanton, NE passed away September 22, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1957 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, NE to Everett and Alta (Heather) Earl. Kathleen graduated from Crete H.S. in 1976. On April 19, 1980 she married the love of her life, John Tachovsky in Crete at the Methodist Church. After they married, Kathy and John resided on a piece of the Tachovsky family farm and began their family. She worked at American Tool for over 20 years and later Nestle Purina.

Kathy's world revolved around her family. She was very proud of and loved spending time with all of her children and grandchildren. She always said her greatest accomplishment was being a grandmother.

Kathy is preceded in death by husband, John; mother and father, Alta and Everett Earl; her sister, Karen Campbell; mother and father-in-law, Jean and Lester Tachovsky; and his grandparents.

Survivors include daughter, Jennifer (Lee) Burkhardt of Crete; sons, Kenneth (Becky) Tachovsky of Branson, MO & Daniel (Stephanie) Tachovsky of Nebraska City; grandchildren, Kloie, & Elsa Burkhardt of Crete, Brixton, Jaxon, & Scarlett Tachovsky of Nebraska City, Nicholas & Maxfield Thompson of Nebraska City;  brothers, Donald (Vicki) Earl of Mullen Ne & David (Teresa ) Earl of Saint Marys, OH, brothers -in-law, Bill Tachovsky of Beatrice & Kevin Tachovsky of Wilber; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Kloie & Elsa Burkhardt, Brixton, Jaxon, & Scarlett Tachovsky, Nicholas & Maxfield Thompson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber. Casual attire is requested by the family. Pastor Lila Bottolfsen will officiate. Inurnment will be at Wilber Czech Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers to Swanton Volunteer Fire Department or DeWitt Rescue Squad. Condolences may be left at kunclfh.com .
