Kathleen Rose Cook Walton of Seward, NE, was born on January 30, 1941 to Hans Peter Cook and Virginia (Bomar) Cook in Beaver Crossing, NE.  Kathleen was united in marriage to Claude Walton on June 3, 1959.  Kathleen was a homemaker, and then worked at Anna Sunderman Home for many years.  She enjoyed needle point, crocheting, reading, and most of all her family.  Kathleen passed away on September 22, 2020 in Seward, NE at the age of 79 years.  Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry and husband Claude.  She is survived by her children:  Angela and Larry Anderson of Wilber, Scott and Malissa Walton of Sterling, Cynthia and David Schlueter of Seward, Craig and Mary Walton of Hill City, SD, and Gary and Krissandra Walton of Goehner.  8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Sister Patricia Huston of Henderson, NV.  Sister in law and spouse Mardell and Arlin Miller of Plainview, NE.  Nieces and nephews.  In honor of Kathleen's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Seward Public Library.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.
