Crete, NE - Kay Anne Kincaid, 81, died Saturday, September 28, 2024, at her home in Crete, Saline County, NE.

Ms. Kincaid was born Kay Anne Munn on August 31, 1943, in St. Francis, Cheyenne County, KS to Clyde and Shirley Munn. She married twice, first to Stuart Denton Resmondo, and second to Arleigh Lavern Kincaid.

Kay grew up as a Navy child and then was a Navy wife.  Her many transfers took her all over the United States, Panama and Newfoundland, Canada. Kay never met a stranger as she enjoyed learning and knowing about others.  She was kind, loving, sweet and giving, especially with her homemade chocolate chip cookies she shared with her visitors. Kay had a beautiful smile and spirit.  She adored her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Kay loved reading, doing puzzles of all kinds, her favorite being jigsaw puzzles.  She was a homemaker throughout her life, performed administrative insurance and banking duties in Wauneta, NE from the mid-1970s through late-1980s, and served as a Pastor for the United Methodist Church at multiple parish assignments in Kansas from 1991 until she retired in 2000. Her last assignment as Pastor was in Kanorado, KS. After her retirement, she moved in with her daughter, Katherine Leigh Tietge in Long Branch, NJ. She then moved to Rio Rancho, NM living with her son, David Eugene Kincaid, and finally relocated to Crete, NE to be near her oldest daughter, Elizabeth Anne Henning.

She is preceded in death by her brother Dalton Lee Munn, her sister Linda Faye (Munn), and her son David Eugene Kincaid.

Survivors include one half-sister, Sharon Diane Register (husband Jerry Steve) of Birmingham, AL, two daughters, Elizabeth Anne Henning (husband Kevin Henning) of Crete, NE, Katherine Leigh Tietge (partner Randy Monroe) of Effort, PA, and one son, Stuart Daniel Resmondo (wife Kathryn Martin) of Maple Valley, WA, two half-nephews, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
