Kenneth R. Muff, 73, of Martell, Nebraska passed away November 3, 2018 at Pemberly Place memory center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Ken was born August 7, 1945 in Crete, Nebraska the son of William and Margaret (Shavlik) Muff. He graduated from Crete High School and attended the University of Nebraska for two and a half years while working as a carpenter. Ken was united in marriage with Victoria Wiebelhaus on October 14th, 1967. They were blessed with one "whoops" or we mean a wonderful son, Joseph. Ken was a prankster and jokester and was the king of dumb jokes. He became a lifelong carpenter while also farming. He raised hogs for a short time but mostly concentrated on raising cattle. He was on the school board for the local country school, District 61. He enjoyed hunting in his earlier years with his brother Bill. When he wasn't working he loved to fish and spend time with family. Ken was preceded in death by his parents: William and Margaret Muff, sister, Florence and husband Don McKay, brothers, Ron Muff, Paul Muff, Gene and wife Theo Muff, sister in law, Clara Muff. Ken is survived by wife, Vicky, son and daughter in law, Joseph and Jenny Muff, grandchildren: Benjamin Muff, Nicole Muff and fiancé, LaRoy Cobb, Zachery Muff, brothers: Ben Muff, Bill (Judy) Muff, sisters: Berniece Murray, Loretta (Artie) Kubicek and Donna (Dwaine) Novak, sister in law, Laurel Muff, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation is at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5-7 PM with the Rosary at 7. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Crete. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association. Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete is in charge of arrangements.
