Kenneth Dale Tyser, age 74, died Thursday, January 14, 2016 at his home near DeWitt surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 28, 1941 to Fred and Olga (Jiskra) Tyser. Kenneth graduated from Wilber High School with the class of 1959. He married Gladys Zoubek on August 18, 1963. Kenny spent most of his life on the farm where he was born, raising crops, cattle and his three children. His passions were farming, family, woodworking and above all, his loving wife Gladys to whom he was married for over 52 years.


Kenny is survived by his wife Gladys; two daughters, Kathy (Steve) Mailand of Grant, NE and Karman (Tim) Sullivan of Wilber, NE; son, Kraig (Michelle) Tyser of Lincoln, NE; Eight grandchildren, Calla Mailand, Brady Mailand, Justin (Whitney) Sullivan, Kelsey Sullivan, Jamie Sullivan, Gage Sullivan, Kooper Tyser and Karlie Tyser; Sisters-in-law Verla Tyser and Corrine Tyser of Wilber, NE; Brother-in-law Kenny Zoubek and wife Shirley of Milligan, NE; six nephews and a host of friends and neighbors.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dwain Tyser and Joseph Tyser.

Funeral services for Kenneth Tyser will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber with Pastor Lila Bottolfsen officiating. Burial will be at Wilber Czech Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Sunday, January 17 at Kuncl Funeral Home, Wilber. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
