It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Anton Krepel, a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. Larry was born on March 1, 1946 in Lincoln, Nebraska, and departed from us on September 9, 2025. Known for his humility, kind spirit, and love for his family, Larry's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who knew him.

Larry graduated from Lincoln High in 1965. He served his country by enlisting in the US Navy. Larry continued his education at Butler County Community College for 2 years and Medical Lab School in Wichita, Kansas for 1 year. He was a Lab Technician at the hospital in Wichita and then later on in Crete at the Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Krepel. Daughters: Karrie Biggs, Kathy Hunter, and Katy Meredith. 1 grandchild. 2 step grandchildren. Sisters: Connie Herman, Priscilla Krepel, Theresa (Steve) Baldwin, and Sarah Senders. Brothers: Thomas (Carol) Krepel and Richard (Susie) Krepel. Each family member carries with them countless memories and shared moments of joy, laughter, and love with Larry.

In death, Larry is reunited with his parents: Anton and Phyllis (Head) Krepel, and his stepdaughter, Jen Barber.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
