Leslie D. (Les) Burch of Crete, died Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Tabitha in Crete, Nebraska at the age of 90. He was born November 05, 1927, in Mahaska, Kansas to Charles Burch and Opal Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna, his parents and brother Dennis Fielder. Les is survived by his sister Larreta Mitchell of Suffolk, Virginia, daughter Cynthia and son-in-law AI Bloebaum of Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter Vicki and son-in-law Robert Plair of Beaumont, Texas, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. After graduating from high school, Les worked for The Lincoln Telephone company for 35 years. He loved baseball and football and was a big red fan, attending games for several years. Cremation no visitation. Celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete is handling arrangements.
