Linda Sue (Adams) Freeouf, of York, Nebraska, passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 76, surrounded by her loved ones. Sue was a graduate of Omaha Westside High School and Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. Sue devoted 39 years of service to the nursing profession.

Sue is survived by her husband, Bernard Freeouf of York, Nebraska, her children, Kimberly and Bret Walker, their children Gavin and Paige of Commerce City, Colorado. Jennifer and Mike Sheanon, their children Lilly and Alex of Taunton, Massachusetts. Brian and Jessamy Freeouf, their children Joseph and Abigail of Rapid City, South Dakota, sisters, Kathy Adams of Kansas City, MO and Nancy (Mark) Casey of Emerson, Nebraska.

Sue was preceded in death by her father Byron Adams, mother Marjorie Adams, and grandson Jonah Freeouf.

Though she is deeply missed, Sue's spirit lives on through her family, the traditions she nurtured, and the love she gave so freely.

No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sue's memory will be directed to charities chosen by the Freeouf family at a later date.
