Marlene B. (Aron) Pulec, age 84, born and raised by B. F. Aron and Viola Aron of Crete, Nebraska, died at home in Los Angeles, CA on January 28, 2017. She graduated as Valedictorian from Crete High School and attended Doane College and the University of Nebraska in Omaha. Her educational interests included Home Economics and English teaching. She wrote, "Marlene's Low-Calorie Diet" booklet.
Marlene married Jack L. Pulec of Crete, who was killed in a ski accident in 2003, with whom she traveled the world, supporting his medical career, hosted social events and organized meetings for physicians, surgeons and researchers interested in ear surgery.
Marlene is survived by her sister, Diane L. Aron, her daughter, Marilyn L., her two nieces, Tracy and Wendy and her nephew, Jeff.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Nebraska with Pastor Kathy Rahorst officiating. Memorials care of the family for future designation.
