Mary Ann (Nedela) Kohl, 93, went to Heaven February 22, 2017 at Tabitha in Crete. She was born September 2, 1923, in Crete, to Karl and Gertrude (Riley) Nedela. She was a loving wife of 73 years to Leonard (Bud) Kohl, mother of three children, doting grandmother of six, and great-grandmother of seven.

Mary attended Crete Public School and graduated with the class of 1941. She was a city girl turned farm-wife and later in life worked at J.C. Penney and Wanek's Furniture. Mary loved spending time with family and friends, wintering in Arizona with Bud, traveling by motorhome, and enjoying the extended time there with her daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kay Pomajzl; brothers- and sisters-in-law, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband; son, William (Pat) of Lincoln; daughters, Susan Walker (Dan), and Mary Dee Kohl, all of Phoenix, Arizona. Grandchildren, Scott (Tonya) and Christine Walker; Sean (Deanna) Marcelino; Erik and Jeremy Kohl (Megan Wakeman); Marissa (Seth) Shipley. Great-grandchildren, Justin Walker; Haley (Mark) Jarrett; Rocco, Mia, Sofia, and Caetano Marcelino; Paisley Shipley. Brothers, Norris and Karl (Liz) Nedela; sister, Jo Ellen (Dean) Wright; sister-in-law, Alene Lothrop; many nephews and nieces.
