Milos Joseph Kubicek, 88, of Crete, passed away on June 30, 2018 in Lincoln. He was born February 22, 1930, to Milos and Helen (Matejka) Kubicek on a farm south of Crete. He went to country school District 10. The family moved in 1940 and he went to District 51. Milo farmed with his uncle for 10 years and lived with uncles and aunts from 1947 to 1954. Milo married Kathryn Renner January 24, 1954. They had two daughters, Kathy and Cheryl. He is survived by wife Kathryn, daughter Cheryl Betts and husband Terry, sister Evelyn Slepicka. He was preceded in death by daughter Kathy Uarich, parents Milo and Helen Kubicek, brother Irvin and sister Irma Plachy. Services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:30 am at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Casual attire is requested.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 - 7 pm.  Memorials are in care of the family. Kuncl Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
