Nadine M. Cox, 89, of Lincoln, formerly Crete, passed away April 23, 2019. She was born on April 21, 1930 in Bassett, Nebraska to George A. and Dica I. (Dillon) Carr. She attended Bassett Public School and graduated from Rock County High School in 1948. Nadine married Lester Cox on April 17, 1949 in Bassett, Nebraska. During her lifetime Nadine worked at Lincoln Telephone Company, Formfit Rodgers, and retired from Farmers Mutual Insurance in Lincoln in 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Lester, 4 infant siblings: Nina, Ruth, Keith, and Mary, sister and spouse: Daveta and Darrell (Carr) Wolfe, brother and spouse: Kenneth and Joyce Carr. Survivors include her son and daughter in law: Terry and Ellen Cox, daughter: Debora Cox, grandchildren: Angela (Cox) and husband Jon Paolini, Eric Heckman, great grandchildren: Tyler Andrew Heckman, Kyle Steven Heckman, Makayla Ann Heckman, Makenzie Lynn Heckman, Daniel Joseph Paolini, Jeremiah James Paolini, sister and spouse: Donna Jean and James Allen, nieces and nephews. Services: Friday, 2:30 PM, Kuncl Funeral Home, Crete.
