Obituary

Narcinia Bicera Fowler, age 62, of Clatonia, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Narcinia was born on September 16, 1963, in Nangobongan, Philippines, to Narciso and Lucena Bicera Millare. She was a devoted wife, sister, and friend. Though she did not have children of her own, she was lovingly known as “Mama” to many, and her kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew her.

She attended St. John High School, graduating with the Class of 1981, and later studied computer programming and basic computer systems at Data Center Philippines in Baguio City.

Narcinia’s life was defined by determination, hard work, and sacrifice. She worked as a nanny in Saudi Arabia for four years and in Hong Kong for six years before coming to the United States in 1994. After arriving in America, she worked in the kitchen at Wilber Nursing Home before beginning a 30-year career at Farmland, now Smithfield. Starting in an entry-level position, she worked her way up to become supervisor over three departments. Her dedication, perseverance, and strong work ethic were an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working alongside her. She remained a faithful and committed employee until her diagnosis with Stage 4 lymphoma.

Narcinia enjoyed traveling, shopping, and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Fowler; her sister, Trinidad Jenson of Wilber, Nebraska; and her brothers, Arturo Millare of the Philippines, Leo Millare of the Philippines, and Romie Millare of Canada.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Santos, Loreto, and Felix.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Clatonia Community Center.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and friends who supported Narcinia with love and compassion.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to cancer research in her honor.
