Peggy Marie Siedhoff passed away on November 3, 2025, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 82. She was born on January 31, 1943, to John Marvin and Ruth Means in Wichita, Kansas.

Peg graduated from Crete High School in 1961 and Med Tech School in 1963. On February 27, 1965, she married the love of her life, Francis Siedhoff. They were blessed with two children: Lynn Marie and Russell Marvin.

Peggy is survived by her children: Lynn Rehmer and her husband Ryan; grandchildren: Nicholas (Cheri), Joshua, Christopher (Harley), Zachary and Elizabeth, great grandchild: Charlee Rehmer.  Russ Siedhoff and his wife Lori; grandchildren: Ethan Cornish, Whitney, Mallory and Alex Siedhoff.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Marv and Ruth Means, sister: Patty, and her husband: Fran Siedhoff.

Peggy worked at the Crete Medical Clinic and cared for everyone. She made people smile and feel at ease. Peg always had time for a quick chat and a hug no matter where she was.

She was a dedicated Methodist and had a heart full of love. She rarely missed a Sunday at church and was a helpful member of the congregation. Nature was another life-long passion. Geology held a special place in her heart. She always had a rock in her pocket. Peg and Fran would go to the Platte River yearly to watch the crane migration. She passed her love of the outdoors on to her children. Peggy had a beautiful and soul and will be missed by all the knew her.

Services are Monday, 2:00 PM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed via https://evt.live/peggy-siedhoff-service . Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 - 3 PM at the funeral home. Memorials have been designated to the Nebraska Wildlife Federation. Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
