Rita Louise McAlexander was born July 25, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska to William and Margaret (Fritz) Smejdir. She passed away April 12, 2018 at Bryan LGH East, Lincoln, NE. Rita graduated from Wilber High School. She worked at Campbell's Soup in Tecumseh. Her marriage to Douglas McAlexander ended in 1982. She resided at O.U.R. Homes, Lincoln, NE for over thirty years. Rita had the sweetest smile and gave the best hugs. She is survived by cousins and friends. Rita was preceded in death by her grandparents and her parents. Viewing will be at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber, NE on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber, NE on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:30 am. Interment at Wilber Czech Cemetery, Wilber, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to charity of choice or Kuncl Funeral Home in charge.
