Rose I. VanLaningham, 97, of Clatonia, NE, passed away March 29, 2018 in Wilber, NE. She was born on January 19, 1921 to Dennis and Viola (Thompson) Badgely in Berry, Illinois. In the late 1960's, she moved to Clatonia, Nebraska. Rose worked at Steel Tanks in Beatrice, Formfit, Alpo, and also sold Avon. In February of 2017, she moved into the Wilber Care Center where she resided until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Bob, daughter: Norma, 4 grandchildren, 1 sister, as well as a half-brother. Survivors include her son and daughter in law: Dennis and Betty VanLaningham, daughter and son in law: Joan and Ed Neubauer, daughter in law: Jane VanLaningham, grandchildren: Sherry, Rudy, Wade, Debbie, Sandy, Vicky, Judy, Johnny, Jim, Dennis and Paul, also many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 5th at 11:00 AM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber, NE. No visitation.
