Sandra "Sandi" Lou Madison, age 80, of Wilber, Nebraska, passed away on March 21, 2023 at her home.  She was born on November 18, 1942 in San Luis Obispo, California.  She lived at Patrick Airforce Base in Florida for 3 years and then in Kyoto Japan for 3 years.  In her earlier years, Sandi enjoyed bowling and working with ceramics.  Later in life, she liked water coloring and collecting anything with elephants, as that was her favorite animal.  She loved to watch the birds in the lilac bush that Paul planted for her outside the window at their home.  Sandi worked in the housekeeping department at Bryan Hospital and at Dillards, which is where she and Paul met.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister:  Sharon Carter and her special Auntie Margaret.  Sandi is survived by her husband:  Paul, brother in law:  John Carter, 3 children:  Mike Kliment, Todd Kliment, and Lisa Swartz.  Step daughter:  Shirley Mitchell-Taft.  Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 5 – 7 PM at the funeral home.  Memorials are in care of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.
