Obituary

Scott Anthony Pierce, age 65, passed away March 21, 2025, at 4:55 at the Omaha VA Hospital. Scott was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and veteran. Scott is survived by his wife, Terrie (Theresa), and their three children, Jeremy (Mindy), Daniel, and Christy. Scott was a proud grandfather to Taylor, Anna, Tracen, Brody, Haydn, Gunner, and Asher.

Scott dedicated his life to service, both in the military and in his career. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a SGT from 1978 to 2005, where he met his wife, Terrie. His time in the military took him to various places, including Seoul, South Korea, before he eventually settled in Nebraska. Over the years, he called many places home, including Clay Center, Winchester, TN, Hayesville, NC, Cozad, NE, Alda, NE, and Crete, NE. A skilled electrician, Scott worked hard throughout his career and retired in 2022. He was a man of faith and was a member of Crete Berean Church. Scott will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his deep sense of loyalty, and the kindness he extended to all who knew him.

In addition to immediate family, he is survived by his siblings Joni Pierce, Lori Ochsner, Greg Pierce, Tommy Roark, and Shelley Roark. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaRene Jeanine (Bockerman) Dahlsten, his father, James Dale Pierce, his stepfather, Tom Roark, and his brother Tim Pierce.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Crete Berean Church. Memorials designated to the church or DAV. Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
