Sharon C. Cerveny, 74 of Clatonia, Nebraska passed away on December 30, 2019 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born in Friend, NE to Rupert and Mary Dine on December 16, 1945. She attended Friend Public Schools and graduated from high school in 1964. Sharon married Joseph Ben Cerveny on July 10, 1970 and to that union was born 2 children. Sharon worked for Friskies for 38 years. She had a love for music. She was a member of the Turkey Creek Country Girls which included her mother and sister, Rose. She was also a member of Blue River Community Band and Milligan Brass Band for many years playing her clarinet. Sharon enjoyed watching all sports. She had a special love for all of her grandchildren and keeping up with their activities. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband: Joe, parents: Rupert and Mary, and sister: Rose. Sharon is survived by her son: Mark (Roxie) Cerveny, daughter: Angela Burger, stepchildren: Joseph, Jr. (Diane) Cerveny, Mike Cerveny, Tammy (Harlan) Schlichting, brothers: John (Betty) Dine and George (Sandy) Dine, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete with burial following at Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 – 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorials are in care of the family. Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete is handling arrangements.
