Sherry Ann Sehnert, 82, of Wildomar, CA passed away peacefully on September 21 ^st , 2021.  She was born March 26 ^th , 1939, in Crete NE, to William and Dorothy (Wendelin) Vyhnalek.  She graduated from Crete High School.  She was a drum majorette her senior year.  She was united in holy matrimony to Richard Sehnert on December 1 ^st , 1957.  She married the love of her life.  They lived in Dorchester and she worked at Fairmont Foods in Crete.  This union was blessed with 4 children.  Once they started to have a family, she was a stay-at-home mother.  She enjoyed sewing, baking, and fishing with family on vacations.  Once the children were older, she was a sales person at Wanek's Furniture in Crete NE.  In 1981, they moved to California, where she was an active member of the Hope Lutheran Church for 23 years.  She organized the food for events held at the church.  They were married for 62 years.  She is survived by her sister and spouse Elaine and Jimmy Lantz, brother and spouse Fred and Nancy Vyhnalek, 4 children and spouses; Scott Sehnert, Rochelle Carroll, Candace and Michael Herr, and Jeff and Jill Sehnert, 5 grandchildren and spouses, Mitchell and Valerie Vernon, Danielle Cornelius, Aaron and Joshua Sehnert and Isaiah Herr, 6 great-grandchildren; Brennan, Grady and Adilyn Vernon, Kadence, Bentley and Grayson Cornelius and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Sehnert, parents William and Dorothy Vyhnalek, brother LeRoy Vyhnalek. A Celebration of Life with family, friends and others whose lives Sherry touched are invited to a graveside service at the Dorchester Cemetery at 11 am, Friday, November 12 ^th .  Condolences may be left for the family at www.kunclfh.com.
