Sheryl Diane (Kehm) Tieken was born December 6th, 1971, and passed away on September 12th, 2025, at the age of 53.

Sheryl grew up in Pleasant Dale, Nebraska with her parents and one brother. She attended school in Pleasant Dale as a child and then attended Milford Jr. Sr. High School, graduating in 1990. She continued her education after high school for two years at Southeast Community College. She was also on the Pleasant Dale softball team. She met Trevor Tieken in college and the two were united in marriage on June 12th, 1995. She was a light that kept shining and valued her family and friends tremendously. She worked for almost 20 years at Sparetime Lounge and Grill, where she befriended all who knew her and was a blessing to all. She loved and supported her children through every aspect of their lives and was their constant rock and safety net and especially loved watching her youngest daughter's marching competitions and seeing all that she accomplished. She always aspired for her children to do the best they could and was always there to help pick them up when they needed it. She was a wonderful, supportive daughter and sister. She was a hard, loyal worker and friend, the best mom you could ask for. She loved her granddaughter immensely and was an amazing grandma. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Appendix cancer on July 11th, 2025, and fought courageously until her passing two months and one day later. She passed surrounded by loved ones.

Sheryl is survived by her three daughters, Tatyana Tieken (Seward, NE); Vanessa Tieken (Lincoln, NE); and Kassandra Tieken (Seward, NE); her brother, Terry Kehm (Seward, NE); her two future sons-in-law, Scotty Munsinger (Seward ,NE) and Tiberius McCullough (Lincoln, NE); her granddaughter, Natalie Munsinger (Seward, NE); her three sisters-in-law, Brenda (Tieken) Goodman (California); Corinne Tieken (California); and Tamara Tieken (Arizona); as well as various cousins, nieces, nephews and other family. She is also survived by the family's blue nose pit, Chloe (Seward, NE).

Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Sandra (Stern) Kehm and Ralph (Mick) Kehm; her husband, Trevor Tieken, her aunt, Diane Burianek, as well as her mother-in-law, MaryAnn (Ellis) Tieken and her father-in-law, LaVerne Tieken.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on October 8th, 2025, at Sparetime Lounge and Grill in Seward, NE, 119 S 4th St, 68434 from 11 AM - 3 PM, followed by a burial at Pleasant Dale Cemetery at 5 pm where Sheryl and Trevor will both be laid to rest together.
