Shirley A. Schlake passed away April 2, 2016 in Lincoln. She was born May 24, 1953 in Crete to Clarence and Darlene(Rahe) Schlake.

She was baptized June 7, 1953 at Peace Lutheran Church in Jansen NE She was confirmed June 4, 1967 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

She was a 1971 graduate of Crete High School.

She worked at Schneider Electric in Lincoln for 43 years, She retired March 27 2015.

She loved to read books.

She is survived by her sisters, brother and spouses Donna Schlake, Dennis and Jodi Schlake, Joyce and Rich Fuller, Barb and Mark Mundt all of Crete.

Nieces and nephews: Ryan and Katie Fuller Sioux Falls SD, April and Trevor Paschall, Crystal Fuller Omaha, Jason and JoHanna Mundt Lincoln, Stephanie Mundt Las Vegas NV, Ashley Mundt, Denise and Richard Babcock of Crete.

Great nieces and nephews; Morgan Brown, Reighan and Brynlee Paschall, Harper and Dexter Fuller, Lillian and William Mundt.

Aunts: Doris and Marvin Ahl, Gladys Rahe and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, infant sister Cindy Sue and grandparents.

Services: Friday (4/8/16), 11:00 AM, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Crete. Visitation: Thursday, 5 – 7 PM, Kuncl Funeral Home, Crete. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials are in care of the family.
