Susan Renee Nickel

Passed away July 4, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born November 17, 1953 in Crete, NE to Frank & Shirley (Richtarik) Oliva. She was a 1972 graduate from Wilber-Clatonia Schools.  On July 1, 1972 Susan married Robert Nickel in Western, Nebraska. They had two children:  Renae & Lee. Susan worked for Petersons Manufacturing from 1973-2008. She loved her family with all her heart. Susan also enjoyed sewing, crafting and thrift shopping.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Frank & Shirley Oliva & her husband Robert Nickel. Survivors include daughter Renae (Nickel) Dicken & husband Jeremy, bonus granddaughter Estella of Gladwin, MI, grandson Kane Clapper & fiancé Mani Hallett, great grandson River Clapper of Bellevue, NE, Lee Nickel & wife Sara of Plymouth, NE, grandchildren, Oliver, Mora, & Lyvia. Siblings: Sheryl Homolka & husband Kevin of Western, NE. Doug Oliva & wife Judi of Phoenix. Sandra Lutz & husband Steve of Lincoln, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and her little buddy Toby.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wilber American Legion Park Building. Memorials to the family for future designation.
